Foreword

In presenting this first issue of the Journal of Clinical Research in Pediatric Endocrinology (JCRPE), we renew our hopes that in due time this journal will establish its place in the international arena of Pediatric Endocrinology and serve as a recognized tool for exchange of information and experience. 

Pediatric endocrinology, with its multifaceted interests, is an important research area and the increase in number of researchers and of publications in this field around the world is noteworthy. We ventured to start a new journal with the belief that there is a need and room for additional publication opportunities in pediatric endocrinology and with the hope to offer a lasting contribution to this field. 

JCRPE will be published as a quarterly peer-reviewed journal in Istanbul, Turkey. The editorial board includes pediatric endocrinologists from several countries. We look forward to contributions to our journal from our colleagues around the world.
