We would like to report a mistake in our recently published article (Peiretti V, Mussa A, Feyles F, Tuli G, Santanera A, Molinatto C, Ferrero GB, Corrias A. Thyroid involvement in two patients with Bannayan-Riley-Ruvalcaba syndrome. J Clin Res Pediatr Endocrinol. 2013;5(4):261-5). The mutations reported in the two patients described in the original publication were incorrect. Here we provide the two correct mutations. Patient A had a c.655C>T (p.Gln219*) mutation, while patient B a c.635-1G>C mutation. The authors apologize for their error.
We would like to thank Andrew Phillips (Research Associate, Human Gene Mutation Database, Institute of Medical Genetics, Cardiff University, Heath Park, Cardiff, Wales, CF144XN, United Kingdom) for promptly reporting the error and to acknowledge Daniela Francesca Giachino (Medical Genetics, University of Torino, Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences, Medical Genetics, San Luigi University Hospital, Orbassano, Italy) for her precious suggestions and valuable assistance in revising the mutations reported in this Erratum.
